How To PlaY:
In spades the goal is to get the highiest score possible by taking as many Tricks as you bid. The player across the table from you as your partner. There are two phases to each hand Bid and Play. Each phase goes clockwise.
BID:
Each player is dealt 13 cards. You can look at your cards before you bidding Or you can bid Blind Nil. Your bid should be as many tricks as you think you can take during the hand. When bidding Nil (zero) Or Blind Nil, you try to take no tricks during the hand and will receive a scoring bonus if you are successful. If you or your partner bid Nil Or Blind Nil, you are each responsible for your own bids and tricks.

PLAY:
The player to the left of the dealer leads the firt tricks. All remaining players must follow suit if able. If no spades are played , the highest card of the lead suit take the trick. Spades trum the lead suit. Spades can not be led untill spades have been broken. Spades are broken when a player can not follow suit and plays a spade. The player with the highest ranking spades takes the trick. Whoever took the last trick leads the next one. The ends when a team reaches the predetermined point total Or when either team's score is -200.
SCORING:
If you met or exceeded your bid, you earn:
1. 10 points for every TRICK taken up to your bid.
2. 1 bag/point for every TRICK taken that exceeded your bid.
3. 100 points for a successful bid of Nil.
4. 200 points for a successful bid of Blind.
If you are unsuccessful in your bid, you are penalized:
1. -10 points for every TRICK in your Bid.
2. -100 points for an unsuccessful bid of Nil.
3. -200 points for an unsuccessful bid Blind Nil.
4. 1 Bag for every TRICK taken if bidding Nil or Blind Nil.
SANDBAGGING:
Every trick taken that exceeds your bid is counted as a Bag. For every 10 Bags your team collects during a game you are penalized 100 points.
